SPATIAL PLANNING

Within the scope of spatial planning, geological studies are conducted to identify, describe, and assess environmental issues related to hydrogeology and seismic activities. These studies adhere to relevant regulations and employ basic geological and geomorphological survey methodologies, as well as detailed studies. The findings provide territorial zoning with identification of hazard scenarios and corresponding guidelines for appropriate land use concerning the identified issues.

  • Preliminary investigations for the drafting of urban planning instruments
  • Geological studies supporting municipal General Town Plans (P.G.T.) and their variations (Regional Law no. 12/2005 and subsequent)
  • Preparation of thematic, geological, and environmental maps to support planning
  • Identification and delimitation of geological hazard centers (hydrological and hydrogeological risk)
  • Environmental impact assessments for territorial interventions (technical and economic feasibility)
  • Studies and analyses for the definition and regulation of minor water networks
  • Feasibility and environmental impact plans
  • Preparation of specialized reports for Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) and Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA)
  • Civil Protection Emergency Plans
