About us

Mission

Mission

Our mission is to deliver exceptional service to our clients through a commitment to continuous improvement, professionalism, and expertise. We strive to thoroughly understand our clients’ needs and provide them with the most technically and economically sound solutions for each situation.

All this is thanks to experience, expertise, organization, continuous updating, and meticulous selection of technologies and calculation and measurement methods proposed by the market and evaluated by the studio’s technical staff.

Attention to the needs of the clients and promptness in intervention and assistance are the strengths of the quality policy that characterize our work.

Geology

Geology in all its specializations is our “core business” and the driving force behind our activity. The term “Engineering Geologist” well summarizes what we do: the study, analysis, and design of what interacts with soils, waters, and rocks, trying to address various issues with an engineering approach and providing “problem-solving” support, increasingly oriented towards new technologies.

Environment

The study sector concerning “environmental protection” deals with the environmental impact of works, structures, and land planning elements, the remediation of water and soils, and the protection of underground and surface water resources. The Environment sector also includes land planning through the assessment of geological and hydrogeological elements and risks (seismic zoning, geological planning, flood risk, landslide risk, civil protection emergency planning, etc.).

Energy

In the Energy sector, we focus on the research, exploitation, and planning of georesources (water, minerals, and energy). Our specializations include the hydroelectric, geothermal, and mining sectors (quarries, mines, mineral, and thermal springs), covering topics related to the research, evaluation, production, and enhancement of water, mineral, energy resources, and subsurface fluids.

What does the geologist do?

  1. ANALYZE THE PROBLEM: Collects information and documentation related to the problem at hand, establishing the fundamental needs and evaluating the economic and technological feasibility of the requested intervention. Gathers previous geological and technical data and develops a preliminary model of the investigation area (geological conformation and qualitative-quantitative characteristics of soils and waters). Designs and schedules the geognostic surveys useful for defining the final model of the investigation area.
  2. CONDUCT SURVEYS AND COORDINATE INVESTIGATIONS: Interprets data, both previous and derived from geognostic surveys, and processes them into reports and thematic maps, ensuring compliance with standards and legal parameters.
  3. COLLABORATE ON PROJECT DESIGN: Participates in the design of the planned project, developing aspects within their expertise. Identifies and predicts risk factors and geological-technical and/or geological-environmental compatibility concerning the activities intended to be carried out (construction of buildings, communication routes, hydraulic works such as bridges and dams, mining or water exploitation activities, potentially polluting activities such as waste management, industries processing polluting products).
  4. MONITOR THE PROJECT:  Designs, executes, and coordinates geological-technical monitoring related to the effects of the intervention/project on the ground. Continuously monitors and controls both during the project’s implementation and after its completion.
